The Goddard School of Bel Air, MD is seeking a passionate Lead Teacher to implement an engaging Wonder of Learning curriculum and lead daily activities for young children. You will foster a nurturing, inclusive classroom and collaborate with a supportive team to provide a high-quality educational experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Associates or Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• CDA credential preferred.
• 1–2 years of preschool/childcare experience preferred.
• State-required pre-service training completed.

Responsibilities

• Implement age-appropriate lesson plans using Wonder of Learning curriculum.
• Create a safe, nurturing, inclusive classroom environment.
• Communicate openly with families about child progress.
• Supervise children to maintain health and safety standards.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and training.
• Observe and document child development to inform activities.
• Support and collaborate with Assistant Teachers and Resource Teachers.
• Model positive guidance for social-emotional growth.
