Job summary

Child Development Schools is seeking a Lead Teacher to guide an age-appropriate classroom in Savannah, GA. You will plan activities, ensure safety and licensing compliance, and document child development while communicating progress to families daily.

You will collaborate with a teaching team, support a nurturing environment, and participate in ongoing professional development. Full-time position with comprehensive benefits and tuition benefits for employees.

Qualifications

• Must have or be able to obtain a background check.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with families.
• High school diploma or GED required; coursework in ECE preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons and activities for the classroom.
• Keep the classroom safe, organized, and compliant with licensing and ratio requirements.
• Observe and document each child’s development and share progress with families regularly.
• Build relationships with parents through daily communication and scheduled conferences.
• Complete required documentation including attendance, incident reports, and assessments.
