LifeWise Academy seeks a Lead Teacher to support the program director in hiring, training and managing LifeWise teachers. This part-time, hourly role involves planning curriculum for each school year and providing curriculum and supplemental materials to teachers.

Qualifications

• Two years of classroom teaching experience in a school or church setting.
• Mature personal Christian faith in agreement with the LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with the LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.

Responsibilities

• Plan Curriculum: Determine which LifeWise lessons will be taught each school year and ensure consistency with the LifeWise mission.
• Train and Observe Teachers: Organize training days and lead meetings; assist in observing teachers.
• Create and Maintain Records: Develop schedules, maintain rosters, and document health concerns and special needs.
• Communicate: Represent LifeWise teachers at meetings and keep volunteers informed of changes.
• Other Duties: Assist the program director in other responsibilities as needed.
