Job summary

Marsell Wellness Center in Riverside, CA seeks an experienced educator to support student growth by implementing ORR curriculum, documenting progress, and adapting instruction to individual needs. The role emphasizes a safe, flexible learning environment and collaboration with program leadership.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in education or related field, a teaching certificate, and bilingual ability preferred (Spanish).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in education or related major; teaching certificate; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Develops and administers curriculum consistent with age level goals and objectives.
• Promotes a classroom environment that is safe and conducive to individualized and small group instruction, and student learning.
• Develops lesson plans and instructional materials and translates lesson plans into learning experiences.
• Conducts ongoing assessment of student learning, and modifies instructional methods to fit individual student’s needs.
• Organizes and maintains a system for accurate and complete record-keeping, grading, and reporting.
