About the Role

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that foster creativity and critical thinking.
• Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and support staff in daily classroom activities.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating classroom environment for children.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child’s progress and development.
• Conduct assessments and evaluations to track children's growth and learning milestones.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience and curriculum.
• Organize and participate in school events and community outreach programs.
• Ensure compliance with state regulations and licensing requirements for childcare facilities.
• Participate in day-to-day operation of center and cover for other staff when absent.
• Ensure Sign-in and Sign-out are completed on a daily basis for the class.
• Always have active supervision on every child in the class, hallways, playground or on field trips.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or CDA or TCC.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a childcare or educational setting.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective parent and team interactions.
• Ability to create a nurturing and inclusive environment for all children.
