Dragons Academy is seeking an experienced Lead Teacher & Campus Director to lead our West Palm Beach campus. This role blends educational leadership, student support, family engagement, and day-to-day campus management.
The Campus Director will establish a culture of academic excellence, oversee one-to-one instruction, monitor progress, and collaborate with teachers to improve outcomes. You will engage families and manage operations to scale the campus while preserving personalized learning.

The Campus Director will play a critical role in creating a supportive, engaging, and academically focused environment where each student receives the individualized attention needed to succeed.
Serve as the educational leader of the West Palm Beach campus andestablisha culture of academic excellence, accountability, and student success.
Provide and/or oversee individualized one-to-one instruction and ensure learning plans are tailored to each student's academic needs, goals, and learning style.
Monitor student academic progress and work closely with educators to identify challenges and opportunities for growth.
Support teachers in lesson planning, instructional strategies, classroom management, and student engagement.
Ensure curriculum, instruction, assessments, and student support strategies are aligned with Academy expectations.
Foster an environment that encourages students to take ownership of their learning and develop confidence, independence, and strong academic habits.
Build strong, trusting relationships with students and their families.
Serve as a key point of contact for familiesregardingstudent progress, academic goals, schedules, and overall experience.
Maintain consistent and proactive communication with parents and guardians.
Lead regular student and family progress discussions and ensure concerns are addressed quickly and professionally.
Help families understand and activelyparticipatein theirstudent'seducationaljourney.
Create a welcoming, supportive, and student-centered campus environment.
Oversee the daily operations of the West Palm Beach campus.
Manage campus schedules, student programming, staffing, facilities, and day-to-day activities.
Establish andmaintainhigh standardsfor professionalism, communication, student safety, and campus operations.
Monitor campus performance, enrollment, student retention, and overall family satisfaction.
Partner with the AdmissionManagerto support prospective families, student assessments, campus visits, and enrollment activities.
Work closely with Academy leadership to implement strategic initiatives and continuously improve the student and family experience.
Identifyopportunities to improve instructional quality, student outcomes, family engagement, and campus operations.
Participate in leadership meetings and provide regular updatesregardingcampus performance, student progress, staffing, and operational needs.
Serve as an ambassador for Dragons Academy within the West Palm Beach community.
Support the growth of the campus whilemaintainingthe personalized experience that defines the Academy.
Bachelor's degree in Educationor a related fieldrequired;Master'sdegree preferred.
5+ years of teaching experience withdemonstratedleadership responsibilities.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Experience as a Lead Teacher, Department Head, Academic Director, Assistant Principal, Principal, or similar educational leadership rolewithin an alternative school environmentpreferred.
Prior experience with Florida's Step UpForStudentsprogram,includingmanaging the application, enrollment, funding, reimbursement, and compliance processes and ensuring funds are properly received and applied to student tuition and educational expenses.
Experience working with individualized instruction, personalized learning plans, or students with diverse academic needs strongly preferred.
Strong understanding of curriculum development, assessment, student progress monitoring, and instructional best practices.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to build meaningful relationships with students, parents, teachers, and staff.
Comfortable working in a growing, entrepreneurial, and evolving educational environment.
Strong technology and administrative skills.
The ideal candidate is an educational leader who is equally passionate about teaching, student development, and building relationships with families. They should be comfortablebeing hands-on in the classroom while also taking ownership of the broader campus experience.
