Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a dedicated educator to lead and mentor in a classroom setting. You’ll implement the center’s curriculum while supporting children’s development and safety.

Join a team focused on enrollment, accreditation and community engagement. This role emphasizes partnerships with families and staff to deliver high-quality early childhood education.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service and strong organizational skills.
• Possess active CDA Credential or meet NAEYC candidacy requirements.
• Approved state trainer (preferred).
• 2-3 years Early Childhood Education experience (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred).
• Meet state specific qualifications for the role or willingness to obtain.
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and parents.

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum with the needs of each child in mind.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner and connect with parents to provide the best care and education.
• Support center’s success; work with center staff and leadership to drive enrollment, accreditation and engagement.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, and community partners.

Required Skills and Experience

• Outstanding customer service skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task and handle multiple situations effectively
• Possess active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or meet NAEYC candidacy requirements
• Approved state trainer (preferred)
• 2-3 years Early Childhood Education Experience (preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred)
• Meet state specific qualifications for the role or willingness to obtain
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain
• Use a computer, lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors
• Be able to make physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe, and engage in physical activity with children
• Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents in English
