Lead Teacher at Juniper Elementary School (Finance)

As a Lead Teacher with Champions, you'll support hardworking families and elementary-aged kids during out-of-school time on school grounds. You'll partner with administrators to bring our programs to districts or work directly with students to inspire higher aspirations. Your leadership will guide the way toward inspired learning.

Your responsibilities include:

  1. Leading, coaching, and mentoring less experienced teachers; modeling behaviors and providing feedback
  2. Implementing KinderCare's curriculum tailored to each child's needs
  3. Creating a safe, nurturing environment for play and learning
  4. Partnering and connecting with parents to ensure the best care and education for their children
  5. Supporting center success by collaborating with staff and leadership on enrollment, accreditation, and engagement goals
  6. Building positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, community contacts, and partners

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Outstanding customer service, organizational skills, and multi-tasking abilities
  • Active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or meeting NAEYC candidacy requirements
  • Preferred: Approved state trainer
  • 2-3 years Early Childhood Education experience (preferred)
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education
  • Willingness to meet state-specific qualifications and obtain necessary certifications such as CPR and First Aid
  • Ability to use a computer, lift at least 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors
  • Capability to engage physically and visually with children to ensure safety and active participation
  • Proficiency in English to communicate effectively with children and parents

Range of pay: $12.50 - $32.00 Hourly
