Job summary

UCP of Central Florida in Orlando is seeking an Educational Assistant to support PreK classrooms across multiple campuses. The role partners with teachers to implement lesson plans, prepare materials, and monitor student progress through authentic observations and data collection.

Candidates should have an Associate’s degree or 60 college credits, plus CDACPR/First Aid training and 45-hour DCF training, with 1–3 years classroom experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or 60 college credits and 45-hour DCF Training.
• CDACPR/First Aid Training current.
• 1 to 3 years classroom experience preferred with PreK population.

Responsibilities

• Implement lesson plans and instructional groups as directed by teachers.
• Assist in planning, developing and setting up instructional materials.
• Document academic progress with observations and data collection.
• Maintain classroom behavior management and data collection.
• Provide caretaking duties and keep classroom clean.
• Attend trainings, meetings and events and communicate concerns.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
