Little Learners Childcare Center LLC in Washington Township, MI, is hiring Lead Teachers and Assistant Teachers for immediate openings in our Pre-K, Preschool, Early Preschool, Toddler, and Infant classrooms. We are a family-owned and operated childcare center that specializes in providing early education for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years old. Our learning centers are located in Washington Township, Lapeer, and Metamora, with more locations opening soon. We seek energetic, dependable individuals with a strong desire to teach and make a difference every day. Both full-time and part-time positions are available.

Responsibilities:

Teachers are responsible for providing structured activities based on a play-based curriculum that supports the social, emotional, intellectual, and physical development of each child. Establishing bonds with children and families is essential to create a safe, secure environment where children can explore the world. Teachers will act as role models during classroom participation in small and large groups, serve family-style meals, assist with potty training or diaper changes, document children’s progress, and maintain classroom cleanliness. Collaboration with staff is also required.
