Job summary

Learning Care Group is hiring a Lead Teacher in Perry Hall, MD. This role focuses on creating engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences while mentoring other teachers and upholding licensing guidelines and company standards.

We value a strong classroom leader who fosters social, physical, and intellectual growth, communicates well with families, and contributes to a positive, supportive center environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Ability to meet state education requirements and our childcare center requirements.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Create fun, interactive learning experiences while mentoring fellow Teachers.
• Care: promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children in your class.
• Lead classroom management and curriculum implementation, and be an expert on licensing guidelines and company standards.
• Communicate: build sincere relationships with enrolled and prospective families to promote achievement for the child and support your center’s success.

As a Lead Teacher, you’ll:

We want energetic, dependable, passionate individuals who are at least 18 and have:

• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• The ability to meet state requirements for education and our childcare center requirements.
• The ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Pay $17.36 - $18.03 hourly, Bi-weekly and Daily Pay options; based on Position, Education and Experience / any other compensation offered
• Immediate Health insurance (medical, dental and vision), paid time-off and 401K (plus company match) provided for full-time employees.
• Limited medical offered for part-time workers.

• Monday-Friday work week
