Job summary

Learning Care Group in New York is seeking a Lead Teacher to deliver engaging, age-appropriate education while guiding fellow teachers and maintaining classroom standards. The role emphasizes leadership in lesson planning, safety compliance, and fostering a nurturing environment for young learners.

Ideal candidates will meet state education requirements, enjoy outdoor and indoor activities with children, and commit to a Monday–Friday schedule with dedicated time for collaboration with families

• The ability to meet state requirements for education and our childcare center requirements.
• The ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

• Create! Develop fun, interactive learning experiences while mentoring fellow Teachers.
• Care! Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the preschool children in your class.
• Call the shots! Take the lead on classroom management and curriculum implementation, plus be an expert on licensing guidelines and company standards.
• Communicate! Build sincere relationships with enrolled and prospective families to promote achievement for the child and to support your center’s success.

As a Lead Teacher, you’ll:

Compensation & Benefits:

• Pay $19.67-$20.44 hourly, Bi-weekly and Daily Pay options; based on Position, Education and Experience / any other compensation offered
• Immediate Health insurance (medical, dental and vision), paid time-off and 401K (plus company match) provided for full-time employees.
• Limited medical offered for part-time workers.
