Job Description

A Child's Place of McHenry is a licensed childcare center seeking Lead Teachers to support our 2‑Year‑Old classroom.

To be qualified for this position, we require a high school diploma or GED and the ability to pass all background checks. A plus if you have previous childcare experience.

Required Shift: Monday–Friday, 4/10s (4 days/week, 10 hour days), 7:45 am–6:00 pm

Compensation: $19–$20 per hour, based on education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and maintain all aspects of the classroom.
• Demonstrate patience, kindness and positive interactions with all children, parents, and staff.
• Operate as a team player.
• Physical ability to work around small children, including sitting, standing, walking, running, and climbing stairs.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role.
