Job summary

Children of America is seeking a Lead Teacher to join our team. You will work with a supportive staff to deliver the Mind and Body Matters curriculum and daily lesson plans in a licensed childcare setting.

The role emphasizes building relationships with children and families, maintaining a safe, structured environment, and communicating professionally with parents and colleagues. CPR/First Aid and state licensing readiness are required.

Qualifications

• CD A or an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education.
• Minimum 1 Year of experience in a licensed childcare setting.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Must meet all state licensing requirements.
• Strong organizational and decision-making skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and staff.
• Flexible and adaptable in challenging situations.
• Commitment to professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily lesson plans.
• Assist in creating a safe, structured, and positive learning environment.

• Utilize technology to document and deliver child progress reports.

Who You'll Interact With

Hourly rate: $17.79-19.21 per hour. Final compensation will be based on experience, skills, location, and internal equity. This role may also be eligible for performance-based incentives or other benefits.
