The Goddard School in Edgewater, MD is hiring teachers for all classrooms. You will love and nurture children, helping lay a foundation for early development. A passion for kindness and character building is essential for this role.

In this in-person, full-time position, teachers implement engaging curricula, support social and emotional growth, and collaborate with families to ensure a well‑run program while following health and safety procedures. Salary ranges from $18.00 to $22.00 per hour.

Job description

The Goddard School in Edgewater, MD is currently hiring teachers for all classrooms!

Teacher Requirements:

• Kindness and strong character
• Desire to nurture children and help them to grow to help make the world a better place
• CDA or Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (not required, but preferred)
• 45 Hour Infant/Toddler Certificate or 90 Hour Preschool Certificate preferred.

School is willing to provide tuition assistance, if not currently certified.

• EEC Certification preferred (will work with you to get certified)
• Must be able to work between the hours of 7:00AM – 6:00PM
