Job summary

Big Blue Marble Academy is seeking an Early Child Care Lead Teacher to guide a play-based curriculum for infants, toddlers and preschoolers on-site. You will plan activities, build daily rapport with families through reports, and ensure a safe classroom following enhanced guidelines.

We welcome applicants with at least a high school diploma or GED, a SC Child Care Credential or CDA, and six months of licensed childcare experience; CDA or degree in early childhood is a plus.

• Six months experience in child care, daycare or preschool preferred.

As an Early Child Care Lead Teacher, you will:

Requirements:

• At least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED required
• South Carolina Child Care Credential or CDA
• At least six months of licensed childcare experience
• Early Childhood coursework, CDA or degree preferred
• At least six months experience working in child care, daycare or preschool preferred
• Employees are required to stand (six to eight hours daily), stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, etc. while working with children.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 30 pounds
• Must be able to visually supervise children at all times.
