The Primrose School at Colorado Station is looking to add to our amazing Teaching Team!
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher to plan and implement an ongoing program of activities that promote the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of each child, in accordance with the Primrose Balanced Learning approach to teaching and learning.
Primrose School at Colorado Station is an accredited private preschool that provides a premier educational childcare experience. We offer year-round programs for children from infant through elementary-aged school age.

Desired skills and experience:
- High school degree or equivalent
- Previous teaching experience (preferred)
- Understands children’s needs and behaviors
- Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs (for Infant and Young Toddler teachers, must be able to properly lift infants into and out of a crib.)
- Lead Teacher Applicants must meet the necessary requirements for Colorado
Primary Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage daily classroom activities for a group of children.
- Follow all rules and regulations at Primrose School at Colorado Station and relevant local, state, or national agencies concerning health, safety, and child care.
- Continuously assess each child's developmental needs.
- Implement approved lesson plans and daily schedules according to the Primrose Balanced Learning curriculum.
- Coordinate with leadership for parent-teacher conferences and student evaluations.
- Maintain an attractive, organized classroom environment that fosters exploration and confidence.
- Provide positive reinforcement and clear expectations for children's behavior.
- Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of classroom, common areas, and playgrounds.
- Attend staff meetings, workshops, and school functions as required.
- Maintain professional appearance following the employee handbook guidelines.
- Assist in other duties as determined by the Director or designee.
