Job summary

Lipton Teas and Infusions is seeking a Blending Production Supervisor to lead daily site blending operations, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time execution of production plans.

You will plan blends, supervise 12–20 staff across all shifts, drive continuous improvement, coordinate with Maintenance, Quality, and Supply Chain, and uphold GMP/HACCP standards. This role demands hands-on leadership and lean manufacturing focus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute daily blend plans aligned with the production schedule.
• Achieve daily and shift-level blend attainment targets.
• Coordinate blend changeovers, rework activities, and production trials.
• Maintain blend formulation and updates as needed based on formula changes.
• Ensure FIFO compliance for all blends and ingredients.
• Lead and develop operators and support staff within blend operations.
• Create daily staffing plans aligned to production schedules, including overtime coverage.
• Ensure training, certification, and skill coverage for safe operations.
• Conduct shift handovers and daily production reporting.
• Manage attendance and foster a positive, inclusive work environment.
• Champion safety, GMP, HACCP, sanitation, and regulatory compliance.
• Drive continuous improvement with lean/LMS principles and TPM.
• Track KPIs and support data-driven decision making.
• Develop and implement SOPs and ensure training deployment.
• Collaborate with Maintenance, Quality, Supply Chain, and Site Leadership to ensure smooth production flow.
• Support audits and plant tours as needed.
