Baker Newman Noyes (BNN) is a top 100 tax, assurance, and advisory firm with offices in Maine, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire. We are seeking a Tax Manager to lead tax compliance and planning for high net worth individuals and complex entities, while supervising staff and mentoring juniors.

In this role you will manage client engagements, ensure timely deliverables, and contribute to firm administration and development. Flexible scheduling and a supportive culture are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience providing tax compliance and planning services to high net worth individuals and family groups.
• CPA or JD required; MST/LLM in Taxation a plus (optional).
• Flexible schedule based on business needs and client deadlines.

Responsabilités

• Supervise staff and seniors and review their work product for completeness and accuracy.
• Provide timely, high-quality tax compliance and planning services.
• Develops rapport with client personnel and the firm engagement team.
• Explain tax objectives, budget information, and engagement details to staff and seniors.
• Research tax issues and develop sound solutions for clients.
• Monitor budgeted vs actual hours and provide updates to principals.
• Mentor and coach staff and identify opportunities with clients.
