Job summary

KCI Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Task Coordinator III to lead small teams on electric distribution design projects. The role involves field data collection, design work, permitting, and client coordination, with significant field exposure and office-based task leadership.

The TC III will generate schedules, help develop staff, and participate in quality and safety initiatives while supporting project managers and pursuing new business with existing clients.

Qualifications

• Two-year college degree and two years of direct distribution design experience; college degree may be offset by two additional years of experience.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Pre-employment drug screening and background/motor vehicle checks may apply.

Responsibilities

• Field work and inspection without oversight.
• Producing high-quality complex construction prints and material lists.
• Demonstrate proficiency in distribution design software.
• Mentoring peers and junior staff as requested by leadership.
• Assist with Quality Compliance initiatives as directed by leadership.
• Assist with delegation of field work, permitting and design tasks as directed.
• Assist with pursuing new work with existing clients.
• Perform storm damage assessment work as requested by leadership.
