Job summary

Vector Security is seeking a Lead Systems Technician in Portland, OR to service and install integrated security systems including Burglar and Fire Alarms, Access Control, and Video. The role requires strong technical aptitude and customer-facing skills.

The Lead will program and commission systems, mentor junior technicians, and work with local jurisdictions to ensure compliant designs while maintaining top-tier customer service. A valid driver's license and relevant certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years industry experience.
• Minimum of 2-years of fire detection and signaling systems experience (burglary, fire alarm, CCTV and access control).
• Must possess a Valid Driver’s License.
• ESA Certified Alarm Technician Level 2 or equivalent - preferred.
• NICET Fire or Video Level 2 - preferred.
• Must be able to effectively communicate with various individuals in a professional manner to provide superior customer service.
• Assists in design of integrated systems; understands software and programming for the primary manufacturers used by their home branch.

Summary:

The Lead Systems Technician will be responsible for Servicing and/or Installation of integrated systems including Burglar and Fire Alarms, Access Control, and Video. Possesses strong technical aptitude and effective interpersonal skills.

What you'll do:

• Completes System Servicing and/or Installations of various types of integrated systems.
• Completes Servicing and/or Installation of basic to advanced network devices.
