Raytheon’s Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities Discipline is the central focus for Mission Systems Integration activities responsible for defining customer needs, functional and product architecture, requirements definition and decomposition, Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), Verification and Validation, test capabilities, Life Cycle and System Security Engineering (SSE).
The Radar Systems (RS) Department is seeking a Lead Systems Engineer (Sr. Principal Systems Engineer) to join the LTAMDS program to support the Low Rate Initial Production (LRIP) contract. The Lead Systems Engineer (LSE) is an integral part of the Office of the Chief Engineer (OCE) and is the principal arbiter of Systems requirements and design. The LSE supports the OCE to ensure technical execution and system compliance to contractual requirements.
This is an onsite role in Tewksbury, MA.

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
