Job summary

MORSE Corp is seeking a Systems Engineer to lead the design and deployment of mission systems for airborne platforms in the US National Security ecosystem. This role combines technical leadership with program management and customer interfacing to drive innovation in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include guiding the design, integration, and testing of complex systems, translating operational needs into subsystem requirements, and conducting trade studies on COTS vs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Electrical, Systems Eng, CS or related field (Master’s preferred).
• US Citizenship and ability to obtain U.S. Security Clearance required.
• 5+ years designing complex mission systems (hardware + software).
• Experience eliciting, decomposing requirements for mission capabilities.
• Experience using simulation to analyze alternate designs.
• Radiation-hardened components experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and technical leadership in design, integration, and testing of aircraft mission systems (hardware and software).
• Decompose high-level requirements into subsystem requirements and manage traceability across the lifecycle.
• Perform trade studies comparing COTS and GOTS components against mission needs, cost, and schedule.
