• Support technical integration within operational delivery per SEMP.
• Facilitate Technical Review Boards (TRBs) as required.
• Coordinate and oversee technical and business integrations across stakeholders and Contractors.
• Develop IT strategy and roadmap documents for program.
• Validate designs and support Disposition Management Plan.
• Develop onboarding processes and training for systems.
• Assist IPTs/OD Teams in implementing SDLC tools.
• Drive scaled agile methodologies across multi-team delivery.
• Distribute updates to processes and manage transitions.

We are seeking a Subject Matter Expert (SME)–level LeadSystems Engineer to plan, coordinate, and oversee the development and implementation of new systems and technologies. This role provides technical and management leadership on major engineering assignments, translating business requirements into technical solutions and driving the implementation of scaled agile methodologies across a System of Systems (SoS). The Lead Systems Engineer owns systems engineering management processes, the Integration and Implementation Plan (IIP), and technical integration across stakeholders. Decision-making and domain knowledge may have a critical impact on overall program implementation. May supervise others.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Establish, document, andmaintainsystems engineering management process documentation, including the SEMP , Test and Evaluation Management Plans (TEMP), and Concept of Operations
• Create andmaintainthe Integration and Implementation Plan (IIP) , defining major and interim milestones, Readiness Review (RR) success criteria, and SoS integration narrative
• Support technical integration within all functional areas of Operational Delivery and integrated product teamsin accordance withthe SEMP
• Facilitate and support Technical Review Boards (TRBs) asrequired
• Coordinate and oversee technical and business integration activities across stakeholders, third-party contractors, purpose-built systems, and the Business Ecosystem
• Develop, document, andmaintainIT planning and strategy documents, such as the IT Strategy and Roadmap
• Validate systems engineering designs and plans and support the Disposition Management Plan
• Develop and support a technical onboarding process and training for systems supporting the Programli>
• Assist Integrated Product Teams, OD Teams, and system teams in implementing System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) tools
• Drive the implementation andutilizationof scaled agile methodologies across multi-team delivery environments
• Distribute and communicate updates to systems engineering processes and manage the transition to updated processes

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 15+ years of experience providing technical and management leadership on major systems engineering assignments (SME level)

Certifications

• Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP)

Required Skills

• Expert experience in systems engineering management across the full system development and operational lifecycle
• Demonstrated ability to author andmaintain SEMP , TEMP, IIP, and Concept of Operations documentation
• Experience driving technical integration across a System of Systems (SoS) with multiple service and solution providers
• Strong background implementing scaled agile methodologies in large, multi-team programs
• ExperiencefacilitatingTechnical Review Boards and engineering governance

Desired Skills

• Experience with large-scale federal modernization or data-centric cloud transformation programs
• Familiarity withDevSecOps, cloud-native architecture, and SDLC tooling
• Experience with disposition management and operational delivery / readiness reviews
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive briefing to senior Government stakeholders

Our estimated salary range for this position is $120,000 - $160,000, this presented salary range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Offered salary is based on experience, geographic location, and possibly contractual requirements as appropriate to the role. *Salary could fall outside of this range.
