Job summary

AeroVironment, Inc. seeks a Lead Systems Engineer to provide THAAD systems integration and interoperability guidance with international partners.

You will coordinate force design activities, participate in data link architecture discussions, and present findings to senior leadership. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in engineering, 10+ years in defense systems, an active SECRET clearance, and strong experience with MILSATCOM.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent required.
• Active Secret clearance required.
• 10+ years of professional experience.
• Experience with THAAD and MILSATCOM systems.
• Familiarity with DoD programs and defense acquisitions.

Responsibilities

• Provide systems and interoperability engineering for THAAD with international partners.
• Assist Engineering Lead with force design management and technical reviews.
• Attend data link conferences and contribute to TD(L) architecture discussions.
• Coordinate with external agencies and stakeholders on technical efforts.
• Document interim and final findings for senior leaders and decision makers.
• Lead regular and ad-hoc design reviews and technical exchanges.
