Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Systems Administrator with AWS cloud experience in a Windows environment to perform O&M/A&A/patching and assist with managing and upgrading SQL Server instances. The role requires proficiency in the MS Product Suite to move COTS products into the cloud and support a secure, mission-focused IT infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Poly required.
• Bachelor's degree with 12+ years experience or Master's with 10+ years or 16+ years in lieu of a degree.
• Experience leading a team and supporting stand-alone environments.
• Proven ability to plan software modifications and upgrades.
• Experience managing on-premises virtual infrastructure and DR sites.
• Experience transitioning to a cloud/VPC and administering security tools.
• Experience with MS Server 2012/2019 and MS SQL, SPLUNK, and McAfee.
• Strong communication with stakeholders and end-user support.

Responsibilities

• Perform O&M/A&A/patching duties in Windows/AWS environments.
• Assist with upgrading SQL Servers and moving COTS products to cloud.
• Lead IT contractors on selected tasks and coordinate with customer.
• Support system engineering tasks and address evolving infrastructure needs.
• Plan hardware/software modifications and DR/backup solutions.
• Provide technical support and resolve escalated issues.
• Attend TEMs and participate in security/A&A efforts.
