Job summary

Trexquant Investment LP is seeking an experienced systematic trading operations leader to oversee day-to-day trading and operational activities. You will drive automation, build scalable processes, and monitor systems to support growth across markets and asset classes.

You will collaborate with researchers, technology, risk, compliance, and finance teams to ensure smooth operations, strong controls, and high execution quality.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in trading operations or related functions at a quantitative hedge fund or systematic trading firm.
• Experience scaling trading operations across multiple asset classes.
• Strong technical skills in trading systems, data flows, and operational infrastructure.
• Hands-on, proactive leader with ownership mindset.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to automate workflows and reduce costs.
• Build and improve operational processes to support growth across markets and assets.
• Develop a robust monitoring system.
• Maintain robust controls to minimize trading errors and operational risk.
• Manage relationships with prime brokers, executing brokers, custodians, and other counterparties.
• Coordinate with researchers, technology, risk, compliance, and finance teams.
• Work with execution teams to monitor performance, costs, connectivity, and execution quality.
