Job summary

AMD is seeking a disciplined Lead System Debug Engineer in Server Validation to join the post-silicon team supporting EPYC and Instinct products. You will drive system-level debug, develop strategies, and ensure timely resolution of silicon findings with global engineering partners.

This high-visibility role requires strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration across IP design, SoC, firmware, software and manufacturing, as well as the ability to operate across time zones and deliver robust

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters in electrical or computer engineering with 15+ years of experience.
• Proven expertise in post-silicon validation and system-level debug.
• Experience with PCIe, CXL, and PC industry busses.
• Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Debug issues during silicon bring-up and post-silicon validation.
• Lead complex debug efforts and identify root causes.
• Manage issues, risks, and program milestones.
• Coordinate with global teams across time zones.
• Develop and execute debug strategies to improve throughput.
