Job summary

Issac, LLC seeks a Mid-Level System Administrator to support high-fidelity BMDS modeling in Huntsville, AL. You will lead IT administration, ensure government-directed architecture is implemented, and work across distributed data centers with travel as needed.

You will bring Linux experience, DoD 8570-compliant security credentials, and strong problem-solving; expect collaboration with government and contractor staff to sustain operations and improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field and 3–5 years of experience.
• Hands-on design and implementation experience with Red Hat Linux environments.
• DoD 8570-compliant cyber security qualifications; Security+ CE required.
• Linux+ within 6 months or starting; cloud experience a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication; customer-focused.

Responsibilities

• Lead system administration for an M&S system in Huntsville, AL.
• Serve as IT technical representative to government stakeholders.
• Maintain hardware/software and perform deployments and upgrades.
• Diagnose issues and provide timely incident resolution.
• Present architectural designs using Microsoft Visio/PowerPoint.
• Coordinate IT architecture consistency across distributed sites.
