Job summary

Velosity in Brooklyn Park, MN is seeking a Swiss Machinist Lead to coach hourly personnel on Swiss machining techniques, quality, and production methods on our weekend night shift.

This on-site role requires strong G/M code knowledge, 7+ years of CNC Swiss experience, and the ability to mentor teams while meeting production rates. You will ensure quality parts meet customer prints and uphold GDP documentation practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school education or equivalent with machine trades certs.
• 7+ years of CNC Swiss machining experience, medical device/manufacturing preferred.
• Strong knowledge of G and M codes and shop math.

Responsibilities

• Coach and mentor hourly personnel on machining best practices and quality standards.
• Ensure production rates and throughput meet shift goals and ERP-driven targets.
• Verify product quality visually and dimensionally, document offsets and tool changes.
