Job summary

The Chickahominy Family YMCA is seeking a part-time, experienced swim team coach to serve as Head Coach for our swim team. The pay range is $20-$23 per hour, with duties including scheduling, training, supervising, and evaluating practices and assistants.

Applicants must have 3+ years of coaching experience and hold current CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications. Lifeguard and Swim Instructor (WSI) certifications are desirable. Weekend availability is often required for meets and meetings.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years coaching experience or proven track record managing a large swim team.
• Current CPR, AED and First Aid certifications are required.
• Current YMCA or Red Cross Lifeguard certification and WSI/Swim Instructor certifications are desired.

Responsibilities

• Head Coach for Chickahominy Family YMCA swim team, overseeing practices and meets.
• Coordinate with the Aquatics Director on scheduling, training, and supervising staff.
