Job summary

CPH, a multi-disciplinary Engineering and Architecture firm, seeks a Professional Surveyor and Mapper in Jacksonville, FL to lead survey projects from proposal through final deliverables. The role combines client relations, project scope management, QA/QC, and coordination with field crews using MicroStation, GEOPAK, Civil 3D.

Florida licensure (PSM/PLS) and a valid driver’s license are required, with DOT Location & Surveys experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Licensed Professional Surveyor/Mapper (PSM/PLS) in Florida; DOT Location & Surveys familiarity is a plus.
• Experience leading survey projects from proposal to final deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Foster and grow client relationships; manage project scope, budget, schedule and quality control for survey projects.
• Provide oversight of survey activities to meet performance goals.
• Coordinate with project team and give instructions to survey support staff.
• Keep up with current technologies and software used in surveying.
• Perform field calculations and mapping as needed.
• Research projects prior to starting work; analyze deeds and materials.
