CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Survey Senior Technician to join our Survey Geospatial Team in Norwell, MA. The role requires leading field and office survey efforts, producing high-quality deliverables, and collaborating with engineers and project teams.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of survey experience, proficiency with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office, and the ability to travel on short notice. LSIT/PLS licensure is preferred, and a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of related survey experience required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and AutoCAD; knowledge of MicroStation/InRoads/Braintree preferred.
• Ability to travel short-term and work outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Apply field and office surveying standards to collect data and prepare accurate survey plans and documents.
• Process field data with Land Development software to create terrain models and mapping deliverables.
• Conduct boundary research and prepare descriptions.
• Perform and verify survey computations, traversing, layout, and map interpretation.
• Create and review sketches, CAD drawings, and related documentation to support project accuracy.
