Chabez Tech in Riverside, CA is seeking a Senior Survey Project Manager to lead surveying and construction staking projects on-site. You will manage client relationships, workloads, and submittals from proposal to final delivery.

The role requires a PLS, 5+ years in surveying, 3+ years of supervision, and strong knowledge of California regulations. Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center, Bluebeam, and MS Office is essential.

Qualifications

• Education & Licensing: Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) certification is required.
• Core Experience: 5+ years of progressive surveying and mapping experience.
• Leadership Depth: 3+ years of direct management or supervisory experience.
• Domain Knowledge: Knowledge of California surveying regulations, standards, and agency procedures.
• Estimating Skills: Experience with construction staking calculations and cost estimates.

Responsibilities

• Manage project schedules, budgets, resources, contract hours, and scope to ensure on-time delivery.
• Prepare and review CAD drawings including Boundary, Topographic, ALTA/NSPS, Land Title, As-Built, and Subdivision Maps.
• Process project submittals with city, county, and regulatory agencies; coordinate bid documents.
• Perform boundary analysis, closure calculations, legal descriptions, and exhibit preparation.
• Communicate with clients, contractors, consultants, and public agencies to streamline project execution.
