Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; higher education preferred.
• 3+ years of land surveying party experience.
• Party Chief experience preferred; familiarity with boundary surveys.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day supervision of the survey field crew and mentor juniors.
• Coordinate with contractors to deliver survey services.
• Identify control points for property lines and plan survey steps.
• Gather information and assign tasks to crew for efficiency.
• Discuss work with clients as needed and maintain records.
• Perform calculations and ensure survey data accuracy.
• Ensure survey truck and equipment are properly maintained.
• Communicate with management to maximize effort and hours.
