Job summary

Florida Department of Transportation seeks a Survey Supervisor to lead the Survey and Mapping Office. You will manage staff, oversee CADD and right-of-way mapping, and act as a technical advisor for geospatial applications.

You’ll coordinate training, QA, and support contract-related activities to ensure quality outcomes. The role requires knowledge of surveying concepts, mapping techniques, and proficiency with CADD software.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of surveying and mapping terminology, principles, and applications.
• Skills in personal computer operations and Windows OS; surveying, mapping, and modeling of surfaces.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and develop employees; plan and direct their work to meet goals.
• Develop, maintain, and support Survey processing, CADD, and Right of Way mapping apps.
• Coordinate training and QA reviews; assist with contract negotiations and project scheduling.
