Job summary

Pulice Construction, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Survey Manager to oversee survey teams across project sites, providing technical input on standards, specifications, and land mapping.

You will lead field crews, ensure precise layout, and support planning and payment quantities. The role requires a high school diploma, a bachelor’s degree (preferred), and 5+ years of survey/land mapping experience; a PLS is preferred and a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years’ experience in survey or land mapping.
• Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Provide work control lines and elevations that are required for accurate measurement and correct installation of materials by field staff i.e., forms for concrete pours, anchor bolts, piping hangers and supports, etc.
• Ensure that crews perform layout work competently and accurately.
• Check as-built conditions that require the use of surveying techniques.
• Provide topographic and cross-section surveys as required for planning and payment quantities.
• Assist with conducting quantity calculations as required.
• Monitor and maintains the condition and calibration of surveying equipment.
• Coordinate survey activities with the assigned engineer and superintendents to meet the construction requirements.
• Manage survey department resources and department assigned budget.
