Blew & Associates, P.A. is a leading national firm in land surveying, engineering, and environmental services. We seek a Survey Crew Chief to lead field survey activities and ensure high-quality deliverables for nationwide clients.

The role requires at least 3 years as a Survey Crew Chief, proficiency with total stations, GPS, and data collectors, and a willingness to travel regionally and nationally. Part 107 license is a plus; CAD experience is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Survey Crew Chief.
• Strong understanding of surveying concepts and practices.
• Proficient with survey equipment (total stations, GPS, data collectors).
• Part 107 license preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with Carlson AutoCAD or similar CAD software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee field survey activities and ensure delivery of quality survey data.
• Collect data for ALTA, boundary, construction staking, and topographic surveys.
• Check and reduce raw field data, perform calculations, and download data.
• Coordinate with project managers and Field Project Manager to stay on schedule.
• Maintain equipment and troubleshoot field issues.
