Job summary

CyberCoders seeks a Survey Crew Chief for our North Carolina operations to provide construction layout, control lines, and elevations for field teams on major infrastructure projects. You will lead survey crews, ensure accurate field data, and support project documentation from the field.

Applicants should have 3+ years in surveying, pass rigid safety standards, and communicate effectively with PMs and engineers. A valid driver's license is required, LSIT preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of surveying and land mapping experience.
• Experience with construction layout, topographic surveys, and cross-section surveys.
• Strong knowledge of survey instruments and field data collection.
• Valid driver's license.
• Leadership experience directing or mentoring survey personnel.
• Strong communication skills with project management and engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide construction layout, control lines, and elevations for field operation.
• Perform topographic and cross-section surveys to support project planning and production.
• Verify as-built conditions and ensure field measurements are accurate.
• Assist with quantity calculations and project documentation.
• Troubleshoot field layout challenges and coordinate with project teams.
• Lead and direct survey crews while maintaining safety and quality standards.
