Job summary

Accura Engineering in Birmingham, Alabama seeks a Field Survey Technician to support survey projects on active sites. You will operate data collectors, GPS equipment, and robotic total stations to collect accurate field data and ensure project quality.

You will lead field crews, ensure PPE and safety procedures, coordinate with office staff and clients, and help maintain accurate timesheets and reports. A High School Diploma/GED and at least three years of survey experience are required, along

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum of three years’ experience conducting various surveys.
• Experience with Transportation Database Surveys is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Operate data collectors, robotic total stations and GPS equipment.
• Perform daily remote file transfers.
• Lead field crews daily.
• Ensure crew wear PPE.
• Enforce safety procedures.
• Coordinate with office staff and clients.
• Follow survey regulations and Accura procedures.
• Monitor timesheets, reports and vehicle inspections.
