Job summary

CBG Surveying Texas, LLC in Fort Worth, TX seeks a Survey Crew Chief to lead a 1–2 member field crew for boundary and topographic surveys, construction staking, and building layout. Reports to the Survey Field Manager and ensures accurate, efficient results.

The role requires strong communication, organization, and proficiency with surveying tools; a valid driver’s license and a High School Diploma or GED are required. Growth opportunities available within a long-standing Texas company.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of progressive field surveying experience.
• Leadership responsibilities expected.
• Experience in Land Title Surveying and construction surveying ideal.
• Proficient with total stations and data collectors; capable of construction staking and layout.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute field data collection strategies.
• Lead and supervise field crew members.
• Perform boundary, topographic, final surveys and building layout.
• Communicate professionally with clients, contractors, and landowners.
• Maintain survey equipment and company vehicles.
• Provide daily updates to the Field Department Manager on progress and scheduling.
