Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Sports Surgery Center at The Star in Frisco, TX is hiring a Lead Surgical Technologist. The role supports a surgical team in orthopedics and sports medicine, scrubbing for procedures, and maintaining a sterile field.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED plus Surgical Technician program or equivalent.
• Ambulatory surgical center experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and patient management.
• Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing patient conditions.
• Excel in teamwork and communication with staff and physicians.

Responsibilities

• Scrub for surgical procedures and maintain a sterile field.
• Prepare supplies, instruments, and equipment for procedures.
• Support the surgery center's objectives and quality improvement activities.
• Collaborate effectively with staff and physicians during operations.
