Job summary

Methodist Dallas Medical Center seeks a Lead Surgical Technician Certified to join our operating room team. You will understand the procedure, ensure instrument sets, supplies, and equipment are ready for the case, and anticipate the needs of the surgeon throughout the procedure.

Working in a high‑tech, multidisciplinary environment, you will communicate clearly, build collaborative relationships, be accountable for your performance, and contribute to delivering the best possible patient

Qualifications

• Graduate of Surgical Technologist program, military trained, or AD in Surgical Technology preferred.
• Certification(s) within 1 year of employment
• Prior experience in all specialties with emphasis in advanced procedures, i.e., neuro, orthopedic implants, transplant, endovascular, cardiothoracic and advanced laparoscopic procedures

Job Description : Your Job:

In this highly technical, fast-paced, and rewarding position, you'll collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide the very best care for patients. The Lead Surgical Technician Certified understands the procedure being performed and assures that all equipment, instrumentation, and supplies are available for the case. Articulates the needs of the surgeon. Handles the instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary during the surgical procedure. Participates in setting up and turning over the operating room for cases.

Your Job Requirements:

• Graduate of Surgical Technologist program, military trained, or AD in Surgical Technology preferred
