Job summary

Animal Clinic of Chardon is seeking a Surgical RVT to join our team in Chardon, OH. This role focuses on anesthesia, surgery, and dentistry, with leadership responsibilities as the surgical operations grow.

You’ll work closely with the Medical Lead, oversee surgical workflows, and help maintain AAHA standards while ensuring high-quality patient care. The position is full-time, typically four days per week, with a schedule that supports work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Credentialed Veterinary Technician (RVT/LVT/CVT) required.
• Experience in anesthesia, surgery, and/or dentistry preferred.
• Strong interest in growing into a lead surgical technician role.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key surgical technician and work closely alongside the Medical Lead.
• Provide anesthesia and surgical support and help ensure excellent patient care.
• Maintain and oversee surgical equipment, including regulatory testing and compliance.
• Maintain surgical supply inventory and ensure the team has what it needs.
• Support the Medical Lead in maintaining AAHA surgical standards.
• Monitor and maintain the surgical schedule.
• Help keep surgical workflows organized, efficient, and running smoothly.
• Take an active role in supporting and developing best practices within the surgical team.
