Responsibilities

• Inspect a large variety of heavy-duty mobile equipment (combat, tactical) and automotive vehicles (attack tanks, large cranes, tank retrievers, fire trucks, bridge transporters, armored vehicles).
• Inspect complex mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic and electrical systems and determine repairs needed.
• Utilize Maintenance Expenditure Limits (MEL) to evaluate feasibility of repairs; serve on COMET/MAIT teams.
