Job summary

Estabrook’s is seeking a motivated Lead Supervisor to guide a fast-paced garden center team. The role supports daily store operations, customer service, supervision, merchandising, inventory and plant care, with seasonal moves between Kennebunk (Apr–Oct) and Yarmouth (Nov–Mar).

You will supervise staff, coach performance, maintain displays, assist customers, manage scheduling and ensure safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Education in horticulture with strong knowledge of annuals, perennials, shrubs, trees, and gardening products.
• 2–3 years of retail experience, preferably in a garden center, nursery, greenhouse, or home improvement setting.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Strong customer service, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer and POS experience.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced, seasonal environment.
• Dependable, positive attitude with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Position summary

Estabrook’s is seeking a motivated, self-directed Lead Supervisor who can lead by example in a fast-paced retail garden center. This position supports daily store operations, customer service, staff supervision, merchandising, inventory and plant care.

The position follows the seasonal needs of the business. From April through October, the Lead Supervisor is based at our Kennebunk location. From November through March, the position moves to our Yarmouth location to support winter operations, holiday sales and preparation for the next growing season.

Responsibilities
