Job summary

ColonialWebb is seeking a Superintendent for the Special Projects team to oversee change-outs, retrofits, and installations on complex projects. You will supervise mechanics, apprentices, and helpers while ensuring work aligns with contracts and budgets.

Qualifications

• At least 7 years in the industry with supervisory experience.
• Extensive knowledge of international codes and HVAC/plumbing systems.
• OSHA 30-hour certification and safety regulations knowledge.
• Ability to read and understand project documents in English.
• Ability to use technology (computer/tablet, Procore, BIM).
• Strong administrative and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage personnel and asset tasks effectively.

Responsibilities

• Maintain adherence to safety rules and procedures.
• Assign workers to duties per supervision directions.
• Estimate worker-hours for projects and monitor progress.
• Inspect work for conformance to specifications and plans.
• Interpret specifications, blueprints, and job orders as needed.
• Coach teammates and provide technical/management guidance.
• Direct day-to-day tasks and coordinate multiple activities.
