Job summary

Moss is seeking a Superintendent (Wood) to plan, schedule, organize, and direct construction of wood multi-family projects from field execution through turnover.

The role requires leadership of multiple direct reports, strong safety and quality control discipline, and collaboration with the Project Manager and Executive to meet schedule and cost goals. Oklahoma-based, exempt salary position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in construction management, engineering or related field preferred.
• Experience as a primary Superintendent on multi-family wood projects.
• Experience leading multiple direct reports and project teams.
• Computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Participate in preconstruction by identifying project requirements and Owner Contract requirements.
• Work with Project Manager and scheduling team to create and build the project schedule.
• Conduct preconstruction meetings with all subcontractors.
• Lead the team from construction start through project close.
• Communicate scope to the site management team.
• Maintain project production schedule and assist in developing scopes of work for subs.
• Manage safety to ensure OSHA standards are met.
• Communicate with owners and project team members.
• Document job progress and complete daily superintendent reports.
• Oversee quality control plan and supervise project personnel.
• Support turnover/closeout and coach new team members.
