• Provide instruction in assigned subject areas as offered by Palmetto Excel.
• Implement curriculum, lesson plans, and activities aligned with SC academic standards.
• Develop or adapt lesson plans to maintain instructional pacing and continuity.
• Administer formative and summative assessments.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, assignments, grades, assessments, and student progress.
• Review student performance data and adjust instruction; provide timely feedback.
• Maintain FERPA confidentiality of student records.
• Build rapport with adult learners and support balancing school with other responsibilities.
• Reinforce student ownership of learning and progress toward graduation and credentials.
• Collaborate with the Palmetto Excel team and school community.
• Attend instructional meetings, professional development, orientation, and activities as appropriate.
• Coordinate with Academic Success Coaches to address barriers to student progress.
