Job summary

Olsson is seeking a Project Manager III (Engineer‑Project Manager) to join our Substation and Power Generation team. This role blends technical leadership with project management, guiding design decisions, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and managing scope, schedule, and budget for complex power infrastructure projects.

The ideal candidate has 8–12 years of experience in substations or power generation, a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, and a proven track

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.
• 8–12 years of experience on substation/power generation projects.
• Strong technical design leadership and coordination skills.
• Experience leading technical project teams in a consulting environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of complex substation and power generation projects from planning through completion.
• Serve as technical point of coordination and guide design on assigned projects.
• Apply hands-on electrical and power systems knowledge to planning and execution.
• Develop and manage project scopes, schedules, budgets, and resources.
• Coordinate with engineers, designers, commissioning staff and other disciplines.
• Mentor engineers and support staff in project leadership and technical guidance.
